Paulette Siebers Elected Vice President of Broker/Dealer at American Family Insurance

Madison, Wis. (Aug. 11, 2005) – The board of directors of American Family Mutual Insurance Company has elected Paulette Siebers to the newly created position of vice president of broker/dealer.

In her new position, Siebers will have responsibility for suitability, compliance and sales support for American Family’s 1,842 registered representatives selling variable universal life insurance and variable annuities – two products most often described as variable products.

Siebers graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1972, earning a bachelor's degree in French. She first joined American Family a year later, working as an office receptionist and claims representative. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1977, she worked as an assistant district attorney for more than seven years before serving as a Dane County (Wis.) Circuit Court judge from 1985-86.

She rejoined American Family in 1987 as a claims attorney, moved to the legal division and has managed the corporate legal department for the past seven years.
